The research team in Valencia has extensive experience of market-based accounting research, with particular expertise in the international area. The team is widely recognised as being one of the top empirical accounting research groups in Spain, with team members possessing considerable experience of managing large-scale collaborative research projects, organizing international accounting events, and training ESRs. Research activities at Valencia are supported by good access to computing and data resources. The doctoral programme of the Department of Accounting has a Quality Distinction from the Spanish Ministry of Education.
