PhD in Accounting and Finance, Lancaster University – United Kingdom, in 2002; Master of Science in Economics, University of Porto – Portugal, in 1995; undergraduate studies with major in Economics, Faculty of Economics of University of Porto – Portugal, in 1987.
Member of staff at Faculty of Economics of Porto, since 1991. Currently, teaches “Introductory Accounting” in the undergraduate program; “Accounting Theory” in the master program; “Accounting and Capital Markets” in the doctoral program.
Member of the Scientific Committee of the Faculty of Economics pf Porto; deputy coordinator for the Master in Accounting and for the Master in Management Sciences.
