Introduction to Intacct Project
(Prof. Peter Pope)
Overview of research methodologies (Dr. Aljoša Valentincic)
URSA KOSI University of Macedonia Early Stage Researcher Comments: Speakers and presenters at the workshop had different background; coming from academia, practice and regulators. Their well structured presentations offered an interesting and very comprehensive overview of current accounting issues, particularly those related to IFRS. In addition, it was a rewarding experience to meet them in person.I enjoyed this event a lot, especially meeting the people involved. It was extremely interesting to meet the recruited researchers for the first time and get to know the mixture of different profiles and various countries we are coming from. I attended this event as a participant."
"This was the first INTACCT event and I was hoping to get more insights about the aims of the project, its organization and opportunities it could offer. Also, presentations on the schedule promised a broad overview of concurrent accounting topics and potential research areas to be explored.

ULF BRUGGEMANN Lancaster University Early Stage Researcher Comments:
"The goal of the Lancaster Workshop was to introduce INTACCT researchers to the idea of our research network and discuss potential research opportunities. The programme also included several presentations by practitioners, regulators and INTACCT faculty about their perspectives on the “IFRS revolution”.
The event was a very useful experience as it provided me with plenty of insights that helped to develop my own research. Moreover, it was the first time I met fellow INTACCT researchers who fortunately turned out to be very good company (unless they got lost in the Lake District)."
Day 3
- Practical perspectives on IFRS (Kenneth Lee, Citigroup)
- Practical perspective on IFRS (Gilbert Gelard, IASB)
Practical perspective on IFRS (Prof. Begoña Giner, former EFRAG member)
